Everyday Hair, Skin And Makeup Routine.

Hello Everybody, if you are looking for the perfect hair and skin care routine which is about 80% natural and a basic everyday makeup routine, then you are in the right place.

1.Haircare Routine

So for this, began with dry hair.

Take equal parts of Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Coconut Oil and heat it. Massage it into your hair and wrap it with a hot towel and let it stay for about 2 hrs.

Wash it off with your regular shampoo and conditioner, I use the TRESemme Keratin Smooth Shampoo and conditioner.
Dry your hair not with a towel, DON’T DO IT, ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE CURLY/WAVY HAIR. It just makes your hair really frizzy and that is not going to help. At all. Use a soft t-shirt or a microfiber towel.

This routine above, is something I do once in three days.

WEEKEND HAIR ROUTINE
Sundays are the only time we get to look after ourselves, so let’s put it to the best use.

Take one tbsp. of honey, 2-3 tbsps. of yogurt (plain) and 2 tsps. of olive oil. Stir it until its well mixed, apply it onto your hair and let it sit for 30 minutes and follow your regular hair washing routine or the one above.
This mask stimulates hair follicles, nourishes your hair and makes it smoother.

I do this every Sunday.

2.Skin Care Routine.

Ok so I use some products from Himalaya Herbals, obviously it is not 100% natural and herbal but it is better than using other chemically formulated products.

I use a Neem Peel Off mask and Himalaya Neem Face Wash. I use the mask once in three days and the face wash every single day. It is really effective for my skin type.

WEEKEND ROUTINE
Mix equal parts of honey and turmeric and 2-3 tsps. of lemon juice. Mix until it becomes a consistent paste and apply it to your face. When it becomes dry , wash it off and pat dry with a towel.

This rejuvenates your skin leaving it softer and also prevents acne and pimples.

3.Makeup Routine

a.Wash your face

b.Apply a cleanser and moisturizer.

c.Apply a foundation that matches your skin tone and blend it in with a foundation brush or a beauty blender.

d.Use a concealer under your eyes and also on pimples or spots you want to cover.

e.Use a setting powder to keep the base makeup in place.

f.With a fan brush, swipe on some highlighter on your cheeks and nose.

g.Blush- not really necessary and if you don’t have one you can use a lip stain and blend it in.

h.Bronzer; again not necessary, but you can use it on your jawline and hairline to make it look more prominent.

i.Eye Primer; to have a flawless base for your eye makeup.

j.Use 2 basic neutral shades, a dark one and a light one for your eyeshadow. The best thing is the stick eyeshadow, it is really easy to apply and you don’t really need to work as hard as using a regular eyeshadow palette.

k.A basic winged black eyeliner is the most important thing. If you can’t master the wing, use a scotch tape. Stick it on the outer corner of your eye and wing your eyeliner.

l.Swipe on some mascara. It gives a dramatic look to your eyes.

m.Eyebrow pencil; I have never really felt the need to fill in my eyebrows, mine are naturally shaped and thick. You can use a pencil to fill in your eyebrows to give it a fuller look or get it shaped a salon.

n.Lipstick/Lip Balm/ Lip stain; finish it off with a basic shade of lipstick that complements your skin tone.

Healthy Hair Tips And Tricks | Hair Hacks

Hello everybody. Beautifully thick and glossy hair is something we all want. Stick straight or beach waves or soft curls are like what we call “hair goals”.We are now obsessed with hair tools like flat irons and curling irons and blow dryers which can give us the hair type we desire but what we neglect are the side effects and harms that it can cause in the long term. I personally have really frizzy and curly hair and I kind of feel the need to straighten it almost every week even though I know it is going to ruin. Hair fall and brittle hair are the most common complaints of using heat on your hair all the time.

How To Get Frizz free, healthy and long hair

1. Consider using high quality hair products such as heat protectants by TRESsemme maybe, before using heat on your hair. Also try natural methods for achieving desired hairstyle instead of using chemicals and heat even though your hair is really gorgeous just the way it is, just saying.

2. Heat olive oil (Extra Virgin), coconut oil and apply it to your hair 2 hours before washing it. This promotes growth and reduces breakage.

3. Avoid Chemicals as much as possible. By this I mean, do not get your hair dyed frequently and also reduce the amount of serums and product you use on your hair.

 

4. Use Sulfate free shampoos. It prevents absorption of harmful chemicals and prevents hair falls to an extent.

5.Aloe Vera- Use the gel of aloe vera on your hair and wash it off. (Helps in growth and hair becomes silkier)

6.Onion juice- It can get really smelly, but that’s alright because rubbing the juice of onion on your scalp especially and the roots and ends promotes the growth of softer and silky hair.


7. Banana hair mask-
Ok I tried this. I used an over ripe banana and coconut oil and honey. I mashed the banana and added 2 tsps of coconut oil and 1 tbsp of honey and mixed it all up and applied the paste to my hair. After an hour or two, I washed it off and used my regular shampoo and conditioner. This mask just fights frizz like crazy. My hair became really soft and silky. You have to try this one.

8.Grapeseed Oil- Ok this oil has a lot of benefits and prevents split ends and damaging hair. It nourishes your scalp and makes your hair thicker, longer and stronger.

ALL NATURAL HAIR MASK

-1 teaspoon ACV, 3 egg whites, 2 tablespoons olive oil. Massage it into your hair, cover with a shower cap and wash it after an hour or two. This helps in strengthening hair and is helpful for getting rid of dry and damaged hair.

Extra tip: many of these natural hair masks are healthy and good for your hair but they stink sometimes, even after shampooing your hair. To fight that off, use dry shampoo or hair spray that smells good or spray a perfume onto your hair brush and brush your hair with it
